Who We Are
We Built This From the Field Up
STOSAIC exists because two people with very different backgrounds looked at the same problem — organizations that train for pressure but fall apart under it — and decided the answer wasn’t more content. It was different experience.
Chief Kelvin Brim brings 25 years of incident command experience on the fire line. Chris Kline came from decades of experience in technology, sales training, and behavioral change work across Fortune 100 companies and start-ups. Neither background alone would have built STOSAIC. Together, they did.
From Command to Culture — Building Resilient Organizations.
Our Founders

Kelvin Brim
Co-Founder of Stosaic
Chief Kelvin Brim is Co-Founder of STOSAIC, where he leads the firm’s Crisis Command Architecture practice and overall consulting operations. He is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) with 25 years of operational command experience as a Division Chief with the Charlotte Fire Department — a credential combination that does not exist anywhere else in the industry.
Chief Brim developed STOSAIC’s proprietary crisis command methodology, including The First Hour Doctrine and the S.T.O.I.C. Command Framework (Stabilize, Test, Optimize, Invest, Convert). His approach is built on a simple premise: organizations do not fail because they lack plans. They fail because they have never practiced executing them. His consulting work closes that gap at the executive level.
Beyond crisis command, Chief Brim is a certified business coach with over eight years of teaching experience at the community college level. He holds ICS 100–400 Train-the-Trainer certification, Type 3 All-Hazard Incident Management Team qualification, and serves as Program Director for the Association of Continuity Professionals North Carolina Chapter (ACP-NC). His work spans healthcare systems, nursing education programs, manufacturing operations, construction firms, and community organizations.

Chris Kline
Co-Founder of Stosaic
Chris Kline is Co-Founder of STOSAIC, where he leads workforce engagement strategy, creative delivery design, and partnership development. With decades of experience in technology, innovation, and sales training across Fortune 100 companies and technology startups, Chris brings a practitioner’s understanding of how organizations actually adopt and retain new capabilities — not just what the curriculum says they should do.
Chris founded a start-up in 2015 as a meeting engagement and product design company, developing the interactive platform that became the foundation for STOSAIC’s distinctive delivery methodology. The Mosaic Workshop model — which combines collaborative discussion, applied exercises, and real-time creation of custom learning tools — originated from Chris’s insight that lasting behavioral change requires more than classroom instruction. The method has been validated through engagements with organizations ranging from Harris Teeter to Bank of America to Blythe-Vinci Construction to community nonprofits.
At STOSAIC, Chris’s focus is on scaling the firm’s workforce resilience programs, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring that every client engagement delivers measurable behavioral impact — not just knowledge transfer.
Our Philosophy
STOSAIC is built on Stoic philosophy — not as a branding device, but as a genuine operational foundation. The Stoics were practitioners, not theorists. They believed that character is formed through action, that adversity is the proving ground of preparation, and that clarity of purpose produces decisive action under pressure. Every STOSAIC engagement is designed to surface those qualities in the people who go through it.
Handle. Hard. Better.
Three Scopes. One Architecture. Built for the Way You Operate.
STOSAIC does not sell generic resilience training. We build specific capability — at the individual, team, and organizational level — calibrated to the pressures your people actually face. Our three service scopes operate independently or as an integrated system, depending on where your organization needs to start.
How the Scopes Work Together
STOSAIC’s three scopes are designed as an integrated architecture. Scope 1 develops the people. Scope 2 builds the command structure. Scope 3 establishes the safety foundation. Organizations that engage all three scopes produce a compounding effect: a workforce with the resilience capacity to perform under pressure, a leadership team with the command architecture to direct that performance, and the safety and compliance infrastructure to sustain it without legal or regulatory exposure.
Many clients begin with one scope and expand as they see results. Others engage across all three from the start. Either path works. We meet organizations where they are.
