Kelvin Brim (Chief) is a highly accomplished professional firefighter and certified business coach, trainer, and consultant with a passion for serving others. With 26 years of service as a firefighter, Kelvin has dedicated his life to protecting and serving his community, rising through the ranks to serve as a Division Chief.

Throughout his career as a firefighter, Kelvin has been a student of Stoicism, a philosophy emphasizing personal responsibility, self-control, and rational thinking. As a practitioner of stoic philosophical principles, Kelvin has applied these concepts to his work as a firefighter, helping him remain calm and focused even in the most challenging of situations.

In addition to his firefighter work, Kelvin is a certified business coach, trainer, and consultant focusing on resilience. Through his coaching and consulting work, Kelvin helps individuals, teams, and organizations develop the mental fortitude and resilience to face life’s challenges with grace and poise. By incorporating the virtues and principles of Stoicism into his coaching and training approach, Kelvin empowers individuals and teams to cultivate a calm and rational mindset in the face of adversity and to approach setbacks with a sense of curiosity and openness.

Chris has decades of experience working in technology, innovation, and sales training roles. He founded Blue Heel in 2015 as a meeting engagement and product design company. His experience helped shape the vision for the company’s unique interactive platform, one that brings people, content, and products together to create a memorable learning experience. Their Mosaic Workshop platform, combined with Stoic Resilience content, became the foundation for the Stosaic model today.

In addition, Chris has excelled in corporate leadership positions that helped to shape his unique perspective as an entrepreneur. From Fortune 100 companies to tech start-ups, he has gathered valuable insights that apply to Stosaic scenarios today, minus the red tape of course. Beyond his professional acumen, Chris’ personal sense of purpose is focused on bringing people together to connect and collaborate for the greater good. The Stosaic engagement model allows him to fulfill that passion with groups and individuals in need of building their own resilience.
